Timothy (TC) Caldwell — known to most as TC — is a Deputy Fire Marshal with the City of Raleigh and the founder of Guardian Life & Safety Solutions, LLC. With 13 years of fire service to the City of Raleigh, TC has built a career centered on one purpose: protecting people when it matters most.
TC's medical credentials are extensive — EMT, BLS, First Aid, CPR, Technical Rescue, and Emergency Medical Responder. He currently serves as Operations Lead of the ERT Bike Team at UNC Health Rex and previously worked as a Critical Care EMT at WakeMed Health & Hospitals and a BLS EMT at UNC Rex. Before that, he spent over seven years as an EMT with First Choice Medical Transport. His experience spans pre-hospital emergency care, interfacility transport, hospital emergency response, and large-scale crowd medical operations.
Guardian was born out of a real gap TC saw in Raleigh's growth. As the city expanded, smaller venues began requesting medical services — but the major providers were focused on larger contracts, leaving those smaller events without qualified coverage. Guardian stepped in specifically to serve those who were being overlooked, bringing the same standard of professional emergency preparedness to every event regardless of size.
Outside of his emergency services career, TC is a professional bodybuilder and three-time men's physique champion — married with two kids, and deeply rooted in the Raleigh community he has spent his career protecting.
